In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charles “Chuck” Anderson are being accepted on this GoFundMe page in support of Internet Archive, a non-profit digital library, and congressionally designated public depository for U.S. Government documents, whose mission is to provide free, universal access to humanity’s knowledge and resources.

Chuck’s B-Western movie website, The Old Corral, was labor of love and a mammoth research effort over 28 years spanning thousands of census, federal, state, and local government records, newspapers and microfiche, marriage, death, and baptismal certificates, yearbooks, articles, film, photos, audio recordings, and more. He credited the Internet Archive as a “treasure trove” of materials that significantly helped his research, so we thought it fitting to support their important work in his memory.

Chuck's family has coordinated with the Internet Archive team on how to best handle donations, and they will organize any received here first and then make a single donation after his memorial service for the total.
