Chuck & Patty Coram's Medical Journey

Donation protected
Chuck & Patty Coram have been on a long journey with Chuck's health issues for several years.  Since last November,  Chuck has been hospitalized all but a few days.  It began in Detroit hospitals, but mid-January, he was life-flighted to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.  Chuck has been in the ICU the majority of his time at NIH with Patty by his side as medical advocate and much-needed emotional support.  Doctors anticipate Chuck remaining hospitalized at least a few more months, and Patty will stay with him.
A few weeks ago, one of their daughters went to visit them and had a serious health crisis of her own.  Jessica was hospitalized for a week; she remains with Patty in Maryland, where she is receiving treatment.  Jessica will stay there for several weeks until released to return to Michigan and her job.
The Corams have limited resources right now.  Patty has exhausted her Family Medical Leave, and her employer terminated her.  Her housing and parking near NIH (a hotel) has been covered, but Patty was informed yesterday that it may not be much longer.  She and Jessica have everyday expenses to cover (meals, gas, prescriptions, etc.). and their other children would like to fly to Maryland to visit Chuck.
Please keep the Coram family in your prayers.  If you'd like further information or have airline miles to donate, you can contact Marcia directly.
