Chuck Aitken Stronger Than Cancer
Donation protected
Our favorite dad, brother, son, co-worker, friend (and my father-in-law) Chuck got some terrible news this past week: he's fighting pancreatic cancer. We all know Chuck as a loving and dedicated soul who puts his family and friends before himself. As he begins this battle and starts chemo next week, the Aitken family is grateful for any help the community can provide that would alleviate the burden of medical bills and missed work.

Currently, the tumor on Chuck's pancreas surrounds too many arteries to be operable. We are hoping and praying that chemotherapy shrinks the tumor away from the arteries, down to a size that can be removed with surgery.
In the meantime, Chuck plans to work for as long as he can. Always the hard-worker, and keen to keep his mind at work, Chuck intends to be around his Gulfstream colleagues and friends as long as possible, and hopes to be able to support himself and Bett throughout this inevitably long process. At the same time, Chuck's son in Austin and family members from Nashville to Pittsburgh to Hot Springs want to pitch in as much in-person and remote support as possible. Donations will help Chuck spend time with his beloved family and friends over the course of this unexpected and prolonged journey.
Any help is appreciated. These donations will go towards mounting healthcare and transportation costs that the Aitken family are facing, as well as the peace of mind that work can be missed if necessary. Chuck has been there in so many ways for all of us. If you are able, a donation to help Chuck fight this cancer would go a long way!
