Hi, my name is Noah and I am raising funds for my sweet 11-month-old cat named Chubbs. Recently, he had become ill due to a GI Obstruction in his small intestine. This has made myself and my partner come to a crossroads in terms of if we were going to go through with surgery or have him put to sleep. After taking him to a Veterinary Emergency Room, we were given an estimate that was that not possible for our financial position. We have decided to take him to a low-cost surgeon that has given us a more reasonable estimate of $4000. This includes $3600 for Surgery and the remainder for any post-op and meds required. We’ve incorporated our own Care Credit line that would give us a buffer in terms of getting the surgery fully paid off, but it going to set us back severely month to month.
