Have you heard of Corporal “Fritters” Chub? He’s a loving foster uncle to every kitten who walks through our door, a fuzzy 14.7 pound sack of butter who loves to warm your legs at night, and a master of “Death From Above,” where he climbs to the top of the China cabinet and hurtles down to land on an available organ. Chub has also survived FIP twice - once when he was a wee baby, and once as a strapping young man. Now we are battling it a THIRD time and his dads are at the very edge of our sanity.

FIP, Feline Infectious Peritonitis, was a death sentence in the past. I had a cat who died days after his 1st birthday from it before there was a cure. I treated his sister Brisket with the GS cure back when it was on the black market, and she’s 3 years cured now and rules the house when she started on the brink of death. Chub has been treated twice - once with the injections and once with the new pills - and now we are looking at starting it again.

As a disabled autistic trans guy who works full-time as a pet sitter and holds a volunteer board position at a local non-profit, married to a disabled queer guy who manages a vape store that is spiraling thanks to the new THC laws, money is tight. We try not to ask for help unless we absolutely need it for ourselves, but saving Chub is a different story. I would do anything for my baby boy, and I do not invite anyone to test the limits of that statement for legal reasons. Anything you can give will help us buy his medication, and maybe a treat or two for him to help get the pills down.

Chub means the world to me. We’ve been together since the day he was born, and I don’t want to lose him so if you’re able, please consider helping by donating or sharing our campaign.

Anything over the amount that is not used for his medication and treatment will be donated to the rescue where I foster to help other FIP cats get treatment.
