CHSSA State 2019 or bust!

Narbonne HS Speech and Debate is a dedicated group of 11 students who compete in Individual Events, Public Forum debate, and Student Congress. We compete in the Western Bay Forensics League, a part of the CA HS Speech Association. 

This year, we have done very well for being a small team. We earned Second Place in League Sweepstakes for Student Congress for the year and Third Place in League Sweepstakes for Individual Events. And, more importantly, we had SIX STUDENTS qualify to represent our school and our league at the State Tournament in May. 

Unfortunately, we get zero financial support from our school. Every penny we spend on tournaments and fees comes either from fundraising or our coach's wallet. We need to raise money for State in order to pay for tournament costs, hotel expenses and food (we do need to be able to eat while there). We need to raise the money by April 28, since State is the weekend of May 3-5.

We are hoping that generous donors will help our state qualifiers be able to compete. You can ensure that the students who have worked so hard to qualify for State can actually compete. Thank you for your consideration. We appreciate you more than words can express!
