Save the Coshocton Planetarium!

Donation protected
My name is Ron Derewecki and I was the planetarium director from 1971-2002. In 2013, when Central Elementary was torn down, the planetarium was moved into storage at Coshocton High School with the eventual plan to rebuild it.

In recent months, based on support from the town of Coshocton , we've enlisted an architect and are beginning the process of rebuilding the planetarium in room 412 of Coshocton High School.

We plan to raise most of the money from local foundations, but we'll need a fund for ongoing maintenance -- and every dollar helps! We're trying to raise $10,000 on GoFundMe to help towards the estimated $400,000 total cost.

Rebuilding the planetarium means a lot to me because it's a very unique and immersive way to learn, and ought to be re-integrated into the curriculum and also made available to the general public. Let's save this incredible gem in our community!

Note: we know that GoFundMe takes a small fee to use their platform, and we're okay with that. If instead you'd like to make a donation where 100% helps the planetarium, you can make a check out to "Save the Coshocton Planetarium Committee" and mail it to:
