Get CHS New Singlets

Hi!

My name is Peyton Coleman, I'm a Spanish teacher and currently the head wrestling coach at Clifford H. Smart Middle School in Walled Lake, Michigan! This will be my third year coaching here at Smart and within the Walled Lake community, and it's a school and community I've quickly grown to love; especially the great young wrestlers who I've had the privilege to coach! I want them to have their best experience possible while wrestling, and that starts with them being confident in the way they look (plus, who doesn't love a cool uniform?)!

UPDATE:

We were able to get new singlets! I will provide the design below, but in the end we were able to get new singlets via the district. Because the original intent of this fundraiser was to get new singlets, if you would like your original donation refunded I will get that to you.

However, though it is not necessary, another great piece of equipment I would like our athletes to have are team warmups! Keeping your muscles/body warm before a match is something extremely important, especially in such a physically demanding sport. Plus, the aesthetic of being able to coordinate attire with teammates pregame/on Saturdays is something we haven't been able to do in my years at Smart thus far. I'd like to be able to provide that performance benefit, as well as camaraderie, to our wrestlers! Also, each season there are still many out of pocket costs that parents and I have to put towards the program such as certain tournament fees to allow our athletes to wrestle on Saturdays.

Since we have so many generous donations towards the program already, I'd like to take the money we've raised already and use that towards those two things: warm ups and team tournament fees.
