It is an elite honor for the team to be one of the few from Oregon invited to Section 7—a premier national basketball tournament. This recognition reflects the dedication and talent of our players, and gives them a rare opportunity to compete on a national stage.

Coming off an incredible season, finishing 5th in State during the March 2026 Playoffs—their best performance in nearly five decades. The players are riding high on this achievement and are more motivated than ever to keep improving and representing the Centennial Neighborhood in Gresham/Portland, OR with pride.

This June, the team has the exciting opportunity to compete at Section 7 in Mesa, AZ, from June 11-14, and Cali Live, in the Bay Area, 6/25-28. Section 7 and Cali Live are not only chances for the team to hone their skills against top competition from around the country, but it’s also a valuable opportunity for players to be seen by college coaches and recruiting staff. We want every player to be able to participate in this experience without the worry of financial strain on their families.

All donated funds will help cover costs of travel, lodging, tournament fees, and team meals. We are reaching out directly to our beloved community to support our hardworking student-athletes.

The team and families are also seeking sponsorships and engaging in additional on-going fundraising activities to support future opportunities. We believe the team will continue to soar high! If we are fortunate enough to receive excess donations, those funds will be carried over to support the team’s 2026-27 school year needs.
