Chrystal’s Cheerleaders: help her beat cancer!

We are Dana and iuliana, friends of Chrystal Allen. We all met by being parents at La Patera Elementary as well as coworkers there, as well.

Chrystal was recently diagnosed with estrogen pushing breast cancer and has started chemo treatments this past week. She is 38 and a single mom to Elizabeth (who is set to start 5th grade later this month).

Chrystal has a gift with kids, and as such she worked hard and put herself through school to become a teacher. Now, with the current pandemic situation, this has become very tricky. The chemo suppresses her immune system and substantially affects her ability to work and support herself and Elizabeth, especially during treatments.

We feel compelled to help Chrystal and for that, we are reaching out to you, our community. We are aiming to raise funds for Chrystal’s rent, groceries & basic necessities during this time. We hope you can be a part of this; no amount is too small and is so very much appreciated.
