Chrystal Nuckolls

Hi, my name is Renee and I am creating a GoFundMe page for my sister-in-law Chrystal Nuckolls. As some of you already know Chrystal was diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer (Ependymoma) which commonly arises in the brain or spinal cord. We have since found out she has Desseminsted Ependymoma which is even more rare. Chrystal had a six hour surgery on January 17, 2024 to remove a large tumor and has two more tumors in the brain and two more on her spinal cord in which Chrystal’s next step of treatment will include Proton Radiation Treatments for 6 weeks 5 days a week to target the other tumors. Unfortunately where we live they don’t have this type of treatment so she has to have the treatments at Barnes Hospital in St.Louis, Mo. were she will be away from family and friends. Chrystal is a beam of sunshine and is always available for anyone who needs anything and she asked for nothing in return, she is a great mother to her four boys and two girls and she is a wonderful wife, sister, daughter and aunt she has an amazing smile and her laughter is very contagious. So I’m doing this to help her out with traveling expenses and medical bills as for they are a two income household and she will be out of work for a while.. I will be giving updates on this page as well. This journey ahead may have challenges and expenses but she has a lot of family and friends to help her navigate through it.
