So, over the last few months I've had this weird feeling just under my sternum  on the left. Indescribably weird but the closest I can get to is it goes numb and feels like its pulling apart mixed with pain especially when bending down or lifting. I work as a welder so thats a pretty big problem. I dont have insurance at this point I've seen a Nurse practitioner who said I had a "pre-hernia" who then recommended me to surgeon who ordered a ct scan. The ct scan will cost me a few thousand dollars. Afterwards if a  hernia is found ill need surgery and enough money to pay for rent and food until I am done recovering and can go back to work. Im not exactly sure whats wrong but I know SOMETHING is wrong and I really want to get this fixed. Its just really hard without insurance because every step is this massive money roadblock.
