I'm a college student, 22, and looking for financial assistance. I'm stuck between a rock and a very hard place on both ends. I have financially abusive parents, and I am struggling to personally even afford my medication or doctor's appointments. I have two jobs, but have been blacklisted and blackmailed repeatedly by my parents, in the sense that they refuse to help me afford a car. They don't even provide me help with affording the bus back and forth to my jobs.

I need to save for a car but due to these circumstances, it is proving harder than it ever has been before. I previously had saved up approximately $15,000, but my parents, because it was in a joint account, essentially took it from me before I originally departed for college. Leaving me back at square one.

I am looking to buy a preowned fully paid off car as well as needing to scrape together the financial means to afford insurance here in the lovely state of New York, as both of my parents have refused to insure me.

I am chronically ill, and have a laundry list of both visible and invisible illnesses. The main one that makes traveling in the summer so difficult is my POTS/SVT. It's a heart condition that essentially means that being on my feet for too long or getting overheated can cause me fainting episodes. The worst one I've had lasted 10 whole minutes, and that was due to the fact that myself and friends at the time struggled to get the blood going back to the areas lacking in a reasonable time. That and dehydration adds to it immensely.

I'm not asking anybody who is not in a financially well or stable situation to help. If you do have anything to spare, however, I would greatly appreciate the help if possible.
