Chronic Illness Threatens Our Stability

In December of 2023 I was diagnosed with CIDP (Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy), a neuro-immune condition that causes the immune system to attack peripheral nerves. This has a significant impact on motor function, strength, endurance, as well as periodic neuropathy, and due to being the chronic variant means that I will have lifelong treatments for this condition. On top of that I'm a single father trying to take care of my son, so you can imagine how stressful this diagnosis has been.
For half a year I was off of work due to being in physical and occupational therapy for half a year. While I am back to work now, I'm still limited in several ways that I did not used to be due to this condition, and as a culmination of all of this have experienced what many others have experienced with no visible way out alone. And that comes in the form of medical debt that could rapidly cause me to lose things both me and my son rely on such as the roof over our heads. While I consider myself lucky to still be able to have my job, part of the medical debt comes from needing to pay them back as well, as my employer covered my insurance contributions during the time I was not on disability so that I could still be able to have insurance at all.
This brings us to today, almost a year after the initial contracting of this condition. I've been able to maintain things myself by cutting a few costs here and there, as well as asking for help from family when things have gotten a little too tight with what they are able to help with. That said, even with the help of my family I've been barely able to get by, and am reaching the breaking point financially.
Firstly, thank you to anyone who helps out, you've no idea what it means to me and my kiddo. I wouldn't be asking if things weren't in such a tight space, so I appreciate every little bit. I'm only trying to ask for roughly the amount that has built up over time in medical debts, so please don't break the bank for yourselves. I'd hate someone else to end up in my situation because they opted to help me instead. Again, thank you all for any help offered and even just for reading about my plight.
For further details on how the money will be spent, it will exclusively be used for the medical debt that has accumulated, as well as the monthly costs that have suffered as a result (mortgage, water, electric). I'm just looking to try to get things back to as normal as possible financially.
