Chromebooks for Home Learning (Abel Smith School)
Donation protected
Abel Smith School is a primary school in the heart of Hertford, Hertfordshire. We have 250 amazing young people from Pre-School through to Year 6.
We have around 200 pupils learning from home during this lockdown and we want to loan out Chromebooks to help those who don't have a suitable device to use. Our pupils would benefit from a device so they can access the online learning.
As a school we use Seesaw, Tapestry and G Suite and a Chromebook is the best device as well as being cost effective. They cost around £200 each. So the more we raise the more devices we can buy to boost our supply.
The PFA (Abel Smith Parent & Friends Association) is donating money towards Chromebooks and we are launching this campaign too following some kind offers from parents, governors and other members of our school community. Please share our campaign so we can aim high and try meet or exceed our target.
