Support Nieces After Dad Loses Battle with Brain Cancer

Donation protected
Hi there,
My name is Becca and this is for my brother Chris. Chris isn't your average person. Chris is one of those people that does the right thing when no one is watching, that shows up for his family and community, and has big plans for this world. He is a bit nerdy and goofy, in all the best ways. He's an amazing husband and father to 4 children. He is one of those people that deserve all of the best things, but life has other plans.

On the night of Friday, May 12, 2023, I recieved a call that Chris was in the ER. He had trouble grasping language and was beginning to slur his speech. It was soon discovered that Chris had a tumor on the left side of his brain. A week later he could not type, text, or speak clearly anymore. On May 19, Chris underwent a 7-8 hour brain surgery to remove the tumor. The surgeons were able to remove about 70% of the mass, and the biopsy confirmed the mass is Glioblastoma 4. Since leaving the hospital, he has had most of his language return. Chris is now going to begin radiation/chemo to continue the fight, as well clinical trials if possible (he's researched 300 to make sure he's making informed and educated decisions). The unfortunate truth of all of this is that this form of cancer is not curable. Chris is focused on doing whatever he can to make sure he's around for as long as possible, and true to his amazing self, hoping whatever he goes through will help others with their own fight.

Finances play a huge role moving forward. Money raised will be used for medical bills and everyday expenses, like groceries and gas to get Chris to his various appointments. Chris has always taken pride in providing for his family. The goal is to alleviate any additional stress about how the family will be able to get by now that their world has been turned upside down. Please consider donating. Anything and everything is appreciated.
