Hi, my name is Christy, I am raising funds to help with some living expenses while in the hospital. Anything will be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been in the hospital and will be for at least the next 10 days I was diagnosed with transverse myelitis, which is a disease that attacks your nervous system as well as an autoimmune disease called multiple sclerosis. I have very low function in my legs, and I can barely move my hands and arms, I am in excruciating pain and have a lot of weakness. I’ve been put on aggressive treatments of steroids and plasmapheresis, a procedure which transfers your blood and plasma in hopes of getting some function back in my extremities. I have a lot of inflammation in my spinal cord, along with some lesions and some inflammation in my brain. I am producing Intrinsic factor antibody that doesn’t allow me to absorb any B12 vitamin. Prayers are welcomed and thank you to those who have been here for me. I appreciate you all more than you guys will ever know.
