The Christy Minton Memorial Fund has been set up to help cover the expenses incurred by the family due to her unexpected passing on August 20, 2015 at a young age of 19.  Christy was born January 19, 1996 with a heart condition and fought her way through both heart surgery and physical and learning challenges. She was diagnosed with both Asberger Syndrome and cerebral palsy and while life was full of challenges she was always full of smiles.  She couldn't communicate as much with words as she might have wanted, but there was no doubting her sheer will and determination to be a part of everything she could. She is survived by Mom, brother and sisters as well as many loving extended family members and precious caregivers.  Any gift you are able to give to defray the cost of honoring this short but precious sweet life would be a blessing. As you can imagine, time is of the essence.  Her funeral is scheduled for Saturday August 29th.
