Christy Trask’s Battle with Cancer is Back

The best thing you can spend on your kids is time.  

Our friend Christy needs our help to do just that.   Christy’s cancer has returned with a vengeance that only cancer survivors will understand.  Cancer takes.  It takes our fears and makes them a reality, it takes our spirit and squashes it,  but mostly it takes the lives of those we love.   

Christy found out a month ago her cancer has returned in her lymph nodes along her collar bone and into her lungs.  Doctors hope she has 2-4 years left depending on how her body reacts to the treatment.  It is not right and it is not fair but it is reality.   I’m hoping those that love Christy and her family, will donate to help with the day to day details so she can focus the time she has left on being with Nicholas, Richard, Wesley and her family.    

Nicholas has medical battles of his own to fight over the coming years and the thought of him facing them without his mama is almost too much to bear.  Let’s give him as much time with her as we can.   

We love you Christy and we want to help take the pressure off so that you can enjoy the days, minutes and seconds that you have left.
