Christy Schick memorial services

Hello, my name is Judy Sharp. I am holding this fundraiser for the family of Christy Schick, who tragically passed at the age of 66, on June 18th 2025. After 4 bi-lateral stokes, and the family driving back and forth to the University Of Iowa Hospital, her family has already beared a large financial burden. I am asking for the communities support to help cover the costs of her memorial services and or any outstanding bills. I have had the honor of getting to know Christy’s family over the past several years as I have been Akiras “Big Sister” through the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program. Christy leaves behind her Husband Donald, and their young Grandchildren, whom they raise, Akira & Dreaven. You may recognize Christy as a district 13 lunch lady, and a long time staff member of the Coloma Township Park District. Anything helps, big or small.
