Surgery has been scheduled for August 30th-Our friend & co-worker needs a costly surgery done to remove some cysts on her spine. There are very few surgeons who specialize in this type of surgery and the primary physician is located in Dallas, Texas. This requires her to not only incur more out of pocket medical expenses since its out of network, but also travel/lodging costs (approx 10 days) including some family members.
The phone consultation has already been completed and the process is currently underway to get insurance approval.
Please, help her however you can. Her pain is increasing and she has been putting this surgery off due to the expense. Even small donations will make a difference.
