Hello, my name is Amy and I am fundraising for one of my favorite people in the world…my hair stylist, Christy. Christy suffered a stroke two weeks ago. Much too young to have this happen. With no prior health issues, this has been a huge surprise with devastating impacts to her and her family’s income. Hair stylists don’t make money when they aren’t styling hair. After 4 days in ICU, and now in rehab, Christy needs our help for medical bills and lost income for at least two months, perhaps longer.

Christy was there waiting for me after my 17 hour flight home when my dad passed away. She got me presentable for the funeral. Christy was there for my sister after her cancer surgery to wash and style her hair when my sister couldn’t lift her arm or turn her neck. I know many of you have similar stories.
