Hi, my name is Nicki Vollmer and I’m fundraising for one of my closest friends, Allison “Alli” Logue. On Wednesday, December 21st, 2022, Alli unexpectedly and suddenly lost her mom, Christy Logue. Although I only had a few chances to meet her, I know that Christy truly was Alli’s best friend. She was the greatest mom, and a friend to anyone she met. Alli and her fiancé Ben spent 4 days trying to get to Florida, where her mom was currently residing. Between the weather, staffing issues, and system issues with the airline, both Alli and Ben dealt with multiple cancelled flights and unexpected hotel stays, all while grieving this terrible loss. Christy was a light in this world and will be deeply missed. She touched the lives of so many and it’s our turn to give back to her family in their time of need. We are raising money to cover the costs of her cremation and a celebration of life as this passing was completely unexpected. In addition, Alli and Ben have encountered the many unexpected costs of travel, all while maintaining their monthly bills and taking time off work. Any excess money will be donated to a charity of Alli’s choice. Alli is the most selfless, kind, and caring human I know, and she’s never been one to ask for help… that’s why I’m here. We appreciate any and all donations, I know that Alli will be beyond grateful and overwhelmed by all the support. While no funeral service is currently scheduled, a celebration of life ceremony will be announced at a future date. Thank you.
