Christos FC US Open Cup (Chicago)

Christos FC is an amateur soccer team based out of Baltimore, MD  entered in the US Open Cup and is looking for help with travel expenses to their next round of competition in Chicago.  The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, recognized as U.S. Soccer's national club championship, is an annual knockout competition open to all amateur and professional soccer teams affiliated with U.S. Soccer. The tournament has crowned a champion annually since 1914.

Christos has had much success in the opening weeks, winning the first two rounds, including beating the Richmond Kickers, a Div 2 professional team, 1-0 on May 17th.   This win ensured a third round game in Chicago on May 31st vs Chicago FC United.

The amateur team is made up of young athletes, many  who recently graduated from college and are just starting their professional lives, because of this many players do not have the funds for this trip.  In addition, these players will need to take 2 days off of work to participate.   Christos FC is  looking for any dontation to help these 20 players with travel expenses for their trip to Chicago later this month.

Thank you in advance for any dontation you can spare for this unique and amazing opportunity.   Christos FC is a 501c3 organization (82-1278849).

If Christos FC wins in Chicago, they will play DC United of the MLS here in Maryland for the 4th round.
