Christoph’s Medical Recovery

Dear friends and family,

As many of you already know, our beloved Christoph was recently diagnosed with kidney failure and will require a transplant as soon as possible.  As you can imagine, this unexpected news has created a mental, emotional and financial burden on Christoph, his wife Tsedale, and their two young sons.  Aside from the obvious difficulties of enduring the necessary medical procedures needed, the family also has to bear the weight of medical recovery costs and added childcare costs.

Many of you have reached out to the family to offer your support, which they are extremely grateful for.  Some of the most impactful support will be needed post-surgery in terms of recovery medical care, childcare, and creating an environment of comfort for Christoph, his donor, and the family. For instance, Christoph is going to require a post surgical aid while he recovers at a friend's apartment close to the hospital to minimize infection risk.  Thus, we are reaching out to you with the hope that, as their village of loved ones, we can offer help to this amazing family in their time of need.
