Just after my husband's 28th birthday, he was diagnosed with cancer (nonseminoma germ cell). We thought it may have been pneumonia, but it was later revealed to us he had a 16x17 cm tumor collapsing his right lung. Because his cancer is so aggressive, Chris was started on chemotherapy the day of the official diagnosis. Currently, Christopher is in the ICU with a breathing and feeding tube while receiving chemotherapy. He is expected to remain in that condition for at least a week. I am so impressed with my husband; I have never seen a stronger person go through what he's going through with so much strength and stability. He has complained little (except for that terrible breathing tube.)
This diagnosis has flipped our entire world upside down in a matter of days and we are fighting to break through this hurdle.
Many people have asked what they can do to help, what we really need is financial support for the upcoming medical bills. We are humbly asking for a donation since his insurance is preventative only and does not cover cancer.
