Help Support Chris as He Begins His Fight Against CML

Hello Friends and Family,

My brother Chris was recently diagnosed with CML (Chronic Myeloid Leukemia). For those who may not know, this type of cancer requires lifelong treatment, including daily medication, possible chemotherapy, and many ongoing medical visits. The road ahead is going to be emotionally, physically, and financially challenging.

Chris is the sole provider for his wife and their six children. With the difficult side effects of the daily medication and the constant fatigue he’s already suffering, it will be hard for him to continue working at his typical pace. Additionally, they are anticipating an almost 30% increase in their insurance costs at the start of the year. Our family wants to do everything we can to support him so he can focus fully on his health and his family.

As he begins this treatment, it’s important that he can rest, take care of himself, and give his body the best possible chance at success and management of CML. We are starting this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden of the ongoing medical care while he undergoes treatment. Our goal is to relieve some of the stress he’s carrying so he can focus on fighting cancer — not worrying about bills or how to provide for his family during this difficult time.
