CHRISTOPHER TOMPKINS FUNERAL FUND

My name is Robin Tompkins.

My best friend and dearest, darling husband, has gone on to heaven.

We had a modest life insurance policy that could have been enough to cover funeral costs but I just found out that the claim will be denied and I will now be facing a $10,000 bill, and I feel more lost and hopeless then I already did.

Chris was always surrounded by his family, his children, grandchildren, and animals. They were drawn to his kind spirit. He was the kindest, most gentle, loving man.

Chris worked hard and never kept anything for himself.

In 2008, Chris had the first of six heart attacks he would suffer over the next fourteen years.

His heart continued to deteriorate, and his kidneys started to fail, and his lungs were filling with fluid.

His last trip to the hospital in November was very traumatic for him. He was terrified. His failing body took everything from him. His suffering was heartbreaking and terrifying to watch, and now he is gone.

I am sixty eight years old, and I already work sixty hours a week. I still have a mortgage to pay.

I am suffering from losing him, I am so broken. I don't know how I will make it through this.

And now I also have the stress of paying for his funeral. I love and miss him so much, my dear, sweet, kind, love of my life.

I don’t want to ask for help, I just don’t know what else to do.
