Hello! My name is Christopher Taylor. I am a junior music education major studying at the Illustrious University by the Sea, Savannah State University. I have the honor of leading the Powerhouse of the South marching band program as the Head Drum Major for the 2025-2026 season.

I am creating this GoFundMe simply because of the finances for college. Due to my time with the band, I can't work during the season, and this past summer has been especially hard on me financially. There 's still a lot I want to accomplish during college without putting myself in more debt. I don't typically ask for money; if you know me personally, usually I'm the one to offer to help someone else out. I do not expect anything from anyone, but as my band director says, "closed mouths don't get fed." I am seeing if I have any financially blessed friends or family who wouldn't mind helping me continue to chase my dreams.
