Christopher Sowa Medical & Memorial Fund

We are devastated to share that our friend, Chris Sowa  died unexpectedly on February  19th,  2019.   He had been ill since November assuming he had bronchitis or a chest cold. In January, he had increased breathing difficulties. He had an  xray to diagnose pneumonia. It confirmed pneumonia but also a spot on his lung. After biopsies were taken, it was determined he had stage 4 cancer in both lungs and his spine. Despite this diagnosis, Chris remained positive to fight a good fight. Unfortunately, within a few short weeks, Chris succumbed to this terrible disease at the age of 51.

No stranger to adversity, he lost a leg in an accident and persevered into a  25 year profession in floor covering. 
 
He leaves behind his wife Patty, his parents, two sisters,  6 children, and 9 grandchildren.    He loved his entire family and especially enjoyed camping. He had many friends that considered him easy to talk to, loyal and humorous.  We are all in disbelief at this tragic and unexpected turn of events. 

Without life insurance, Patty will be  left with many medical and end of life expenses.  Please consider helping her as she navigates through this tragedy and moves forward in life without him. 

Donations will be sent to his wife, Patty to cover medical, cremation and celebration of life expenses.
