Hello my name is Faith Suver previously Small. Dad is currently in hospice in comfort care surrounded by his loved ones.

Two years ago ,at the beginning of the year, Chris Small was diagnosed with Lymph Node cancer, then shortly after more investigation Lung Cancer was diagnosed. Dad took lots of rounds of the strongest stuff through an access port and fought hard.

Once immunotherapy began, since the chemo therapy ultimately halted things but did not eviscerate any of the cancer, dads health seemed to get better. His beard came back, his hair came back etc. then after two rounds of that, things took a turn. It was slow but with battling sepsis in the middle of all of it, it was just so hard on dad.

He was hospitalized multiple times in the year of 2022 and this most recent hospitalization brought in the discovery of an aggressive brain cancer as well.

Ultimately his decline began to be so harsh and fast there wasn’t really a choice of anything else other than EOL services but also all of us were so tired of seeing him poked and prodded and hooked up to IV’s and just not comfortable EVER.

Dad was always just worried about us. His family. And not wanting us to suffer.

This go fund me is for his memorial services, traveling expenses for everyone, and to help Mary with anything that’s behind since being 24/7 with dad and not being able to work.

Dad hates asking for help and was such a person that wanted to help everyone else. So I’m asking for him.
