In Remembrance of Christopher S. Hawkins

Since 2015, Christopher has been on a long journey, fighting against both prostate cancer and multiple myeloma (bone marrow cancer). After years of visits to the Cancer Center in Little Rock, AK, chemotherapy, and stem cell treatment, in 2022 he was finally in remission.

His last battle was a complete shock and hit him fast. Within the last 3 weeks, his health drastically declined, he was admitted to the hospital, completed various scans, and it was then discovered an aggressive small cell cancer had developed first in his lung then quickly consumed nearly his entire liver. Being the fighter that he was and with the advice and support from his Oncologist, we decided to throw everything we could to give us more time and a fighting chance at survival. He went through a 3-day course of strong chemotherapy. And against all odds, he completed it. The extra time we were blessed to have with him, we spent together, making calls to loved ones and reminiscing about the good times.

And on the morning of March 21, 2024 along side his wife and daughter, Christopher S. Hawkins completed his final battle with cancer and crossed over into eternal rest with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately, due to his pre-existing cancer condition and the amount of time he held his life insurance policy, it will not cover expected funeral and memorial services.

We kindly ask that anyone that would like to, to please donate to cover expected funeral arrangements/expenses. Once a date and time is finalized, this site will be updated and information will be shared on our respective social media pages. Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Church in Pineville, LA.
