Christopher powell moped vs truck accident

Hi, my name is Gregg I'm Christopher Powells cousin. He's one of my best friends and closest people to me. He was involved in an accident on his mo ped after work in the early morning of May 4th 2023. Sitting at the light to turn left a truck turned on the wrong side of the median and hit Chris. He didn't come home that morning which was odd because he's is always there by the time I'm getting ready for work. After 2 hours of no response we started digging into police and hospitals fearing the worst. We found him as a John doe at the local hospital. He's currently in critical condition with the list of issues ever growing. He currently has 11 broken ribs, broken pelvic bone, fractured and dislocated hip, his spleen and left kidney have been removed, both lungs were punctured, broken and punctured left wrist, he's in stable condition and fighting.

I'm trying to help him now as much as possible and lift any financial burdens off of his mind once he's awake. His medical bills are climbing day after day. We're not sure how much will be covered by insurance. He won't be able to goto work and his home bills don't stop either like anyone else.

Chris is the kind of guy to literally give you the shirt of his back or the last bill out of his wallet. Please help in anyway you can even if it's just a prayer and sharing would be amazing.
