To his friends he was a super hero.

A wizard at the gym, always ready to torture you with odd workouts.

A world adventurer always ready with a joke or a story while nursing a glass of fine scotch.

Whether he was waiting tables in El Paso, working as a sailing mate on the Alaska Marine Highway, or as of late following his dream to work on the railroad, Chris lived life on his terms and made friends wherever he went.

Chris was taken from us on December 9, 2022 when he was struck and killed by a drunk driver in San Antonio. Some of his friends have decided to create this Gofundme to raise money to help with returning him to El Paso, funeral expenses, etc. The money raised here will be given directly to his mother.

We all miss him. For those that knew him the loss has been hard to process. I hope in the Spring to organize a celebration of his life so that we all may gather and share stories.
