Christopher McLeod’s Cancer Support Fund
In March 2021, my family received devastating news that my Dad, Chris McLeod, had late stage 3 pancreatic cancer. His tumor is inoperable and his body cannot manage the aggressive chemotherapy that would be needed to give a slim chance of shrinking the tumor. His condition continues to worsen with the tumor affecting his digestive system, he struggles to eat and is rapidly losing weight. He has to stop working and my Mom, his main caregiver, is spending more time tending to his needs. We are working with his doctor to utilize medical resources and structure our family home to better support his needs during this time.
This fund will help cover medical costs that are not covered by insurance and ease the financial hardship for our family.
Please donate and share this fund for Dad. Thank you all for your prayers, support, love and encouragement!
A little more about our Dad:
He has a laugh that is infectious, once he starts roaring with laughter you likely will burst out laughing too. He is always blunt and doesn’t sugar coat anything. He is a proud husband and father. He has lived in a house with all women for 29 years and is an expert at putting the toilet seat down. My Dad was born in Jamaica and immigrated to the US at 18. He met my mom at 31 and they built a home and life together in hopes my sister and I would have opportunities that they did not. Now, we want to help ease my Dad’s discomfort and fight this disease.
