In loving memory of Christopher Makasi

Christopher Makasi tragically passed away on December 30, 2023. The cause of death is still unknown. Our beloved Christopher was a wonderful son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of those around him. We all know Christopher AKA laforce was the live of every party he attended here in Milwaukee, his dance moves, jokes, vibes made everyone laugh. He loved helping people in the community with job applications, interviews and translation. He lives behind his lovely mother Christine and two siblings.

As the Wisconsin Congolese community, we are devastated by Christopher's tragic death. We were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Christopher the memorial he deserves to honour his memory and say our last goodbyes.

We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of Christopher’s funeral. We need to raise $25000 by January 19 2024 in order to be able to afford the funeral service.
