Christopher Lee Williams (“Will”), 36yrs, tragically took his life on Friday, September 29th after losing a decade long battle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
He is survived by his loving ex-wife, Dawn, his two amazing children Keilei (11yrs), Keegan (10yrs), sister Meagan and numerous friends.
The family desperately needs help with the gap of expenses that are not covered by the Veteran’s Affairs. This includes storage, transportation and the cremation needed for the pending funeral services.
Christopher was an Army Specialist in the United States Army and served over 8yrs active duty. Christopher grew up in Chandler, Arizona before being stationed at Fort Hood, Texas along with his wife Dawn Williams.
Christopher served his country with more than 5 tours in the middle east during the war on terrorism overseas. During his time in the service he lost his father and grandmother, 2 lifelong pillars of strength, support and love. Honorably discharged, he returned home to Gilbert Arizona in 2008. Christopher struggled with re-acclimating to normal family life and later separated from his wife and two small children. He remained nearby, maintaining a very quiet, reserved and troubled life.
As an honorably discharged veteran, Chris is eligible for a military funeral. We are truly blessed for the sake of his children and his memory, that he will receive this honor and are doing the best that we can to take him to his final resting place.
Any remaining funds raised will go towards supporting the kids and taking care of required parenting expenses.
