In memory of Christopher James Yuill

Chris passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 26 2024 from a heart attack. He was only 25 years old and leaves behind his mother (Kathy), Father (Gil) and 3 Brothers (Steven, Mike and Matt). He was a beloved son, brother and friend to everyone he crossed paths with online or in person.

We had just moved to upstate New York from Hicksville LI after losing Kathy’s Mother in August. Chris was so happy to be up in the country; Going for walks in the woods and watching the deer at night were two of the things that made him the happiest.

Back when Chris was in high school, he always had a passion for woodworking. He built a coffee table for his grandmother, a gun cabinet for his brother and a desk for himself.

One of the first things Chris had asked for upon moving up here was a wood shop in which he could let his imagination run wild. We promised Chris that we would build him his shop when everything settled, and time allowed for it.

We are starting this fundraiser to kickstart the project he always had dreamed for. All donations made will be used to build and fully supply a functioning shop Chris would have been nothing but ecstatic to work in. The picture above is his first project in East Meadow high school. We plan to put his remains in the shop along with pictures of him covering the walls in remembrance that every finished product will be in thought of him. Alongside it being a functional shop it will be a place where friends, family and people that knew Chris could come and rekindle and too just have a great time.
