On July 5th, a dear friend of mine, Lorena, received the most heartbreaking news a mother could receive. Her son, Christopher, was in a fatal accident. Christopher was too young. He was a proud new dad to his biggest joy, his son Miguel, who is only 9 months old. He was a hardworking young man that wanted to provide his family with everything. He was visiting his parents for the 4th of July holiday weekend. He leaves behind his mom, dad, sister, and of course his son Miguel and his partner, as well as countless other people who loved him dearly. Their loss is shattering and completely unexpected. His parents could not have anticipated the cost of having to bury their beloved son that meant the world to them and was just beginning his life and his new journey of fatherhood. The funds from this will go toward his funeral and the care that he would have provided for his son and family in this unimaginably heartbreaking time.
