To any and all who may read this post, first and foremost, thank you for taking the time to read about my brother and show support in these trying times. Just knowing his story was heard and that he was honored helps, so thank you even if you can’t donate. I appreciate all the support.
On June 19th, 2023, Christopher Green’s life was cut short at 21 years old. He was murdered in his car in Elmirage around 12-1 in the afternoon. As of right now, the only details I’ve been given are that he has passed away around that time, and no further information has been given. I plan to keep this post updated on his condition and status with any further information, if permitted.
I’d like to tell you a little bit about him. He was the key that locked my life down and kept me grounded in reality. He’s one of the smartest people I’ve ever known and probably will ever know. He had critical thinking skills, logical grasps on life, and an intellectual prowess that surrounded him wherever he went. One of his biggest goals in life was to create a business that could generate an income that he could happily create a family with. With ideas like power washing homes, junk collection, hoarder clean up, landscaping, car detailing, and Amazon reselling. He had his mind on every possible market that he could get his hands on, and it wasn’t just a pipe dream either. He always made leaps and bounds towards making those goals a reality by purchasing certain supplies for said businesses and making life changes to accommodate those dreams. He even went as far as writing mock business plans that unfortunately never got to make it to possible investors and / or loan opportunities due to the tragic events that have transpired. He was a rambunctious, bubbly personality that had a sort of serious edge you always came to respect whether or not you agreed with him. He knew how to make a hard situation softer with his presence of comedy and witty responses, and how to make the situation a bit better wh erever he was even if he didn’t feel good himself. He always made sure I had money if I ever needed it. He was always there to talk to about my day and what we were feeling. He always shared what he had no matter what, even if it was the last of what he’d have for a while. Selfless, personable, loving, compassionate, prideful, strong, and full of heart and smarts. I would like to continue telling you about him, but I can’t even formulate the words to describe how bright of a light he had brought to my life and to others that surrounded him. We all will be missing the light he brought to the table.
“Once the sun has set, no candle can ever replace it.”
I’d like to be transparent and discuss what donations are going to be used for. First, we need to purchase a casket for him that will allow him to take some of his belongings with him like he requested. Second, we need to pay for his funeral service, any and all chemicals used, and I believe storage fees. Third, donations would cover the burial services themselves to get him on a beautiful plot of land, buried, etc. Fourth, if any money is left over after covering it all, I will be donating the rest to a local organization that puts their main priority towards helping stop gun violence and possibly reward some of the first responders who tried helping.
I’m not doing this for money or anything like that. I’ll happily put myself in whatever debt is needed to make sure my little brother rests how he chooses. I’m mainly just trying to get his story out there and maybe have a few people who can connect with him. Knowing his story was heard helps me, even if it’s just a little.
