Christopher get over the last hurdle for his PhD

I'm Christopher Irving and while working as a full-time asst. professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2020, I began pursuing a PhD in Media, Arts, and Text, and was only able to with the university's tuition program for full-time faculty. I lost my job last fall, gained another job immediately after, and THAT position was cut at the end of January.

In the meantime, I'm on the home stretch for my PhD and am slated to defend my dissertation on Superhero adaptation in radio on July 9th. There's one snag: I'm still having trouble finding a new job and am also required to pay for the full three credits at VCU. I also am not able to put this off any further as I already had to take a leave of absence.

Any assistance is welcome and would really help me focus even more on having the best defense possible, and then get the PhD to help me get back where I belong: In the classroom with a new teaching job.
