Hello, I'm Christen. I'm one of two daughters Chris had. I am requesting funds to help us with funeral cost for our father. He requested not to be cremated and I am attempting to make his final request possible. Due to a preexisting condition, he was continually rejected from life insurance companies. So this is my last resort. Here's a little insight on what type of person my father was. He served our country for 18 years, in the United States Marine Corps. He loved God. He was active in his church. He donated his time as a part of the parking lot committee, and as a volunteer at Love Active, a program that helps feed families and donate clothes to people in need. He was a man that loved his family and going on road trips to different National Parks with is dogs. His favorites to visit were Joshua Tree and Yosemite. Other than hiking or camping, through various National Parks, he loved riding his bike. He even participated in a few cycling races. He was also on a bowling league and helped them win quite a few tournaments. His pride and joy were his 6 grandchildren. He loved spending time with them in the garden teaching them about the outdoors. They enjoyed learning all kinds of things from him. He taught them how to swim, how to take care of animals when he had his farm, and even horseback riding. Although we are grateful he is no longer suffering, we are heartbroken about his passing. If you are moved to donate it will be greatly appreciated. All funds are going towards his final affairs and laying him to rest.
