Christopher Courtney Medical Fund

Hello, my name is Ashley Lucas and I am hoping to raise some funds to help my best friend and her family during a sudden and serious health struggle.

Christopher is currently facing a long road of healing after discovering an aggressive tumor in his brain. He is currently being cared for in the ICU at OHSU here in Portland. Within the coming days he will undergo surgery to remove the tumor. If you have ever been lucky enough to be in the presence of Chris, you KNOW the big love this guy radiates into your world. He is a dedicated father, husband, son, brother, uncle and one of the greatest friends a friend could have. He wears so many hats, and although he may not know it, we all know he wears them all so well.

Because of his wife, Angel’s, own health struggles with Crohn’s Disease, they have been a one income family with Chris being the one to financially provide. With this sudden and unexpected turn in their lives this wonderful family could use all the support and love that you can give. Thank you

Hello, everyone! Just got word that Chris has made it through his surgery, that it went well and will start his recovery. They will be doing a biopsy on the tumor to determine whether it be cancerous or not. He will have long road of healing. Continue to keep him close to your hearts in hopes for a swift and beautiful recovery.

I can’t express enough how thankful I am for every one of you who have donated, shared, sent messages full of your love and support. The way you all rallied around them makes my and more importantly the Courtney families hearts so full. As we all know, they have and will show up for anyone in need.
