Christopher (CJ) Ryan's Memorial Fund

CJ was an amazing person who touched the lives of so many people in his 29 years of life. He was the kind of person who lit up a room when he walked in and always made people feel special when he greeted you. He could lighten the mood of any situation with his laugh and he always laughed a lot around people he loved. He loved bowling with his friends, spending time with his little brother Beans and tinkering on anything he could get his hands on. He enjoyed wrenching away at the shop and fixing his cars over and over and over again. He and his dad Chris shared a love for music and he always expressed himself through the songs he listened to. CJ loved his nephew and his niece and enjoyed sharing his interests with them. He also had friends who were like family. CJ loved cracking open a beer and talking about life with them. He was encouraging and thoughtful. He was a loving son, a caring brother, supportive friend, avid skateboarder, tattoo fanatic, comedian, free-style rapper, grunge head, wrench head, hard worker, dare devil, risk taker and always the life of the party kind of guy.

His family has suffered so much loss and this was very unexpected. From the outside CJ's life was going so well, even overcoming addiction, but on the inside his pain overtook his spirit. CJ would never want to be a burden on his loved ones so please know that any way you can give is more than enough.

His memorial will be held on Tuesday September 20th with a showing from 4pm-5:30 and a short service to follow at Wood-Kortright Funeral Home in Ravenna.
