We are asking for support of family, friends and loved one in these moments for our cousin Melissa who lost her husband Chris unexpectedly last night. Chris was an amazing human with a humbled soul who loved Melissa deeply. His departure from this world leaves us sad but full of wonderful memories that will keep him alive amongst all those who knew him.
There are no words better than those from his beloved wife;
“Perhaps the most hardest thing I’ll ever post in my existence. Christopher Edward Mizener Jr. I will love you till the end of time. Thank you for loving me as hard as you did sometimes more than yourself. I’m proud to be your wife and that I was able to love and support you even through some of the lowest lows. I will always miss how much you spoiled me, loved me, the way you helped me get ready for work, the way you messed with me, our love for sushi, how many showers you took even your clothes laying around the house. My heart aches like no other. This feels like one twisted dream. I promise to take care of Boo and Dahlia forever. I’m sorry I couldn’t save you. I’m sorry for challenging you sometimes too much but I knew that you could overcome trauma and that crippling anxiety. You were so excited to start that new job because it meant we could talk about having a family and traveling and just being able to have fun. I’ll continue to sing my stupid songs for you. I love you till the end of time. #MrsMizener #ripmylove #ptsdawareness #22”
The cost would help cover the expenses of his funeral. Any additional funds will be donated on his behalf to The Head Strong Project, which helped Chris in his life and time in need.
