Christopher Breeze, memorial service & celebration of life
Donation protected
My dearest family and friends,
We are saddened to inform of the passing of my late brother, Christopher Erwin Breeze, on June 17th, 2024. Chris' sudden passing leaves heart broken family members including his mother, step-mother, brothers, sisters, daughters, nephews, niece and grandson. The amount of pain and grief will be lessened in a memorial service and celebration of life for Christopher.
As far as we know at this time, Christopher was taking a walk at night before starting his new career on Tuesday, and was shot and killed. The suspect was arrested and is being charged with five felony counts, including 2nd degree murder.
We have peace in our hearts that Chris is in the loving arms of the Lord Jesus Christ. It has been an honor to help Chris meet, know and follow Jesus in the last two to three years of his life. I have watched him grow in his relationship with God with the fruits of repentance, love and dedication to God after many trials and tribulations in his life. Within the last year, Chris cut out all secular music and switched to worship music, christian rap, and what Chris would call, his "Jesus music."
Christopher stated on March 20th, 2022, that his favorite song was from Brandon Lake, 'Talking to Jesus'.
Chris - "Keeping God as my foundation and still staying focused on how I can change to better serve Him." February 2024
My family and I want to thank everyone for the love, care, and support that everyone has shown to my family and to me over the last month since this tragic loss.
We are asking for help to cover the expenses for a final resting location, grounds upkeep fee, memorial service, and the celebration of life event for family and friends after the memorial garden service. My younger brother Jesse Taylor and I are the splitting the costs for these events and as we draw to a close on the final decisions, we are facing the reality these sudden costs are more than our families are equipped to handle alone.
Our estimated costs and goal is $6,500 total and Jesse Taylor, Chris' youngest brother, has currently raised about $2,200/$2,500 on his GoFundMe page that he started for Chris' memorial costs.
May God guide us in step with the Holy Spirit in the love, peace and joy of our Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ forever. God bless you all!
