In Loving Memory of Christopher Blake: Help Support Michelle and Honor His Legacy

Our hearts are shattered as we mourn the loss of our beloved Christopher Blake.

Christopher suffered a sudden and catastrophic medical emergency due to his chronic lung disease. Although paramedics were able to restart his heart, the lack of oxygen left him with no brain activity compatible with life. He is currently being kept on life support so he can fulfill his final act of generosity: donating his organs to give others a second chance at life, a fitting reflection of the way he lived every day, with compassion, courage, and deep love for others.

Christopher was more than an advocate; he was a light in this world. A fierce fighter for justice, an advocate for the unhoused, beloved board member with ESTHER, and above all, a loving partner and friend. He was engaged to be married this July to Michelle, the love of his life.

This fund has been created to help cover the unexpected and overwhelming expenses of Christopher’s final arrangements and to support Michelle in staying in the home they shared. No one should have to grieve the love of their life while worrying about how to remain housed.
