Christo Douglas Velez Memorial

Hi, my name is Megan, Christo’s niece. Uncle Christy was the youngest of 10 siblings. He was a happy, kind, and caring man who loved his family.

When I was young I remember him coming to help my father with the renovations for our house. They would always bicker over who knew how to go about the project the right way. He would come to me and say “your father” in a frustrated voice and I would just laugh at them.

I remember my father being on the phone with uncle Christy and him asking about me, my father would say “oh Megan’s right here” then give me the phone. Uncle Christy would always be happy to talk to me about whatever was going on in my life. He never rushed off the phone and I could always tell he was genuinely happy to hear from me.

He is and will forever be missed. I am posting this gofund me to help cover the expenses that go along with his death. We appreciate any and all donations!
