Christmas tree lane train accident

On Dec.1 a tragic accident happened in our community. Anton Solorio, a 5 year old boy was struck by a train while waiting in line for our traditional Christmas Tree Lane lights. There were no lights or sounds, signaling that a train was coming. This year is the celebration of the 100 years Christmas Tree Lane was opened to commemorate the loss of a child & now in 2020, 100 years later we mourn yet another loss of a young child. We are saddened during this holiday season as we prepared to gather and create memories that would end this 2020 year.
