I pray that the scammers do something rewarding with that money. Apparently they must need it more then me.
I really don’t know how to start this. I’m currently lost in tears while trying to do so. The other night I had purchased a pair of tickets to the Patriots game on December 30 for my fiancé as a Christmas gift through a seller off EBay. I took extra steps to make sure I was being cautious. Talked with online support through EBay website before I made the transactions who reassured me the person was 100% legit. And would refund my money if not. I even took pictures of the conversations etc. I was being extra cautious ..
I rushed home from work day of delivery ecstatic to check the mail before he could and well long story short, turns out it WAS a scam. I lost hundreds of dollars and now can’t give my Fiancé the Christmas I planned. I contacted eBay and after being on the phone for two hours they told me there was nothing they could do for me besides suggest I put a report into the police.. Im so hurt & lost for words. I should have known better. I know there is nothing you can do for me but writing you is going to help me know I atleast got my story out. With the holidays around I guess I’m praying for a miracle. I want to remind people that there are scammers EVERYWHERE this time of year and unfortunately they chose to pick on a fan. (Easy target) I NEVER thought this would happen to me. I pray that the scammers do something rewarding with that money. Apparently they must need it more then me. But I won’t let them ruin my spirit! I’m from Boston and mama ain’t raised no .....
Happy holidays New England Patriots !
We appreciate your hard work.
Sincerely,
A broken hearted Patriots fan
